To Discuss New Suicide Prevention Resources for Juvenile Justice
Professionals
On April 17,
2014, at 1:30 p.m. E.T., the National Action
Alliance for Suicide Prevention will present “Preventing
Suicide Among Justice-Involved Youth: Newly Developed Tools,
Recommendations, and Research,” designed for juvenile justice and
mental health professionals serving this vulnerable population. The 1-hour
Webinar will focus on new suicide
prevention resources that the Alliance's Youth in Contact with the
Juvenile Justice System Task Force developed and discuss suicide research
findings and recommendations. The resources contribute to the National Strategy
for Suicide Prevention, which guides efforts to prevent suicide
nationwide. Register
