Opportunity to participate in a research study - $20 incentive

(Title): Receive a $20 gift card for your participation in the School-Based Mental Health Services for Youth Study

IRB Protocol 20140191

Dear School Counselor,

Do you provide counseling services to youth for behavioral or emotional concerns in the school setting? If so, you can earn a $20 Amazon gift card through your participation in the School-Based Mental Health Services for Youth study. This investigation is being conducted through the University of Miami’s Department of Psychology. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire regarding the services that you provide to youth in the school setting. This survey completion will be followed by a phone interview regarding your responses to the questionnaire. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and the interview will last between 30 and 45 minutes. The information collected in this survey will be used to better understand the types of services provided to youth who present to school-based clinicians with various psychological and behavioral concerns. We know that schools differ in the psychological services that they provide to youth, and we are interested in the unique ways in which your school provides services.

Please contact Cara Remmes at the University of Miami at cremmes@psy.miami.edu or 305-284-6664 for more information. Thank you for your interest!
