Florida Education Accomplishments

Looking back at the past year, Florida’s students, teachers, and education advocates can be proud of their accomplishments. A number of test results reported in 2012 show students in every demographic segment are making strides toward becoming better readers, more skilled at math, and more experienced in science. Students in our state’s higher education system also had reason to celebrate when both Broward State College and Santa Fe College were named finalists for the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
