FSCA Executive Assistant Retiring
After many years of outstanding service to FSCA and school counselors across Florida, Claire Cousins
is retiring as FSCA’s Executive Assistant. Claire oversaw
membership, and fielded questions and emails about every aspect of FSCA,
as well as handled Convention registration. Many of you know Claire as
the constant smiling face at the convention registration area where she
greeted you upon check-in, made certain you were set with your materials
and name badge to ensure you had a great convention. One constant with
Claire, she always had the answer to any of your questions.
The
FSCA Board extends a heartfelt “thank you” to Claire for many years of
service to the association and recognizes her dedication and fine, fine
work completed without fanfare, behind the scenes. Claire’s work and
dedication has been one to admire and marvel.
Thank you Claire! And our very best wishes for your future endeavors!
Newly Appointed Executive Assistant
FSCA is most fortunate to have Roberta (Bobbie) Hill assume the position as Executive
Assistant. Bobbie has many years of experiences in schools and in
leadership positions. She has been an assistant superintendent in New
England, and more recently in Pineallas County and the
Sarasota areas of the state, served as supervisor of school counselors,
and as a school counselor. Bobbie brings to this position, rich
experiences in leadership, organizational and management skills, and
understanding of the importance of school counselors’ work.
FSCA is fortunate to have her stepping in now as the Executive Assistant position. Welcome Bobbie!
