Special Topic Presentation at the FSCA Convention Thursday, October 31, 2013 4:30 – 6:30 pm Common Core and the School Counselor - Mark and Nicole Duslak Common Core has arrived. Counselors are—and will continue to be—an integral component of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation. Topics include learning about the CCSS, how they will impact teaching and learning, and how they will be implemented in the upcoming years. An easy-to-understand framework for explaining the CCSS to students and parents will also be provided.
