As everyone gears up for another school year, we wanted to alert you to a number of tools ASCA has available for counselor educators.

Updated position statements: The 2013 Delegate Assembly updated the following position statements: Academic and Career Planning, Discipline, Gifted and Talented Student Programs, LGBTQ Youth, Safe Schools and Crisis Response, Students With Disabilities and Use of Student Support Staff in School Counseling Programs. New book editions: This summer, ASCA released updated editions of "School Counseling Principles: Ethics and Law," "Making DATA Work" and a new publication, "School Counselor Leadership: An Essential Practice." Click on the links to learn more about these publications.
