Webinar To Address Chronic Truancy On February 27, 2013, at 4 p.m. ET, the U.S. Departments of Justice, Education, and Health and Human Services will present the Webinar "Addressing Truancy: Innovative Approaches To Systemically Increasing Attendance and Reducing Chronic Truancy.” This one-and-a-half hour Webinar, third in a series from the Supportive School Discipline Initiative, will showcase characteristics of effective truancy prevention and intervention programs that have encouraged students to attend school consistently and take increased ownership in their education.
