International High School Exchange Hosting

Each year, the State Department awards competitive, merit-based scholarships to approximately 2,000 of the most promising international students from more than 50 countries to study in U.S. high schools, live with volunteer host families and engage in extracurricular, leadership and community service activies. Each year, approximately 1,000 American students do the same overseas. Discover how your school can become a part of this program. This webinar focuses primarily on international exchange students. A second webinar, in fall 2013, will focus on State Department scholarship opportunities for American high school students
