Do You Know a Shining Star? The deadline for School Counselor of the Year nominations is fast approaching. If you know an outstanding school counselor that you think deserves the honor of being named ASCA School Counselor of the Year, be sure to nominate him or her by Sept. 15, 2010. Nominees must be practicing school counselors with at least five years experience and work in a U.S.-based school. Previous finalists are not eligible to re-apply for three years.
