Recognize Outstanding Educators in the Southern Region


The Southern Regional Office is currently seeking nominations for our annual awards. Help us recognize outstanding educators in your region by submitting your nominations today! Award recipients will be honored at the 2011 Southern Regional Forum, to be held Feb. 10-11, 2010, in Atlanta, Ga.

We encourage you to consider nominating a colleague for one of the following honors:

  • Counselor of the Year Award — Recognizes a counselor whose service and leadership have helped to increase access, equity and opportunity for all students.
  • Outstanding AP® Teacher of the Year Award — Recognizes an educator who has made significant contributions to his or her school's or district's AP program.
  • Eleanor S. Morris Service Award — Recognizes a financial aid administrator who has shown commitment and made noteworthy contributions through his or her involvement with the College Scholarship Service and the College Board.
