Nominees for the ASCD Outstanding Young Educator Award should be education professionals, 40 years of age or younger, and demonstrate exemplary commitment and exceptional contribution to the profession. The winner will receive a check for $10,000, be profiled in Educational Leadership Magazine, and be honored during a general session at the ASCD Annual Conference. The winner will also receive an ASCD Institutional Membership for his or her school or district.
