School boards, principals and superintendents have a vital role to play in the emotional health of youngsters. That’s why the Florida Statewide Office of Suicide Prevention, under the Office of Gov. Charlie Crist, has engaged the Dept. of Education to better inform education policymakers of the link between mental health and academics.
