News Clarification A recent FSCA legislative alert (January 5, 2008) implied that ASCA collaborated with FSCA to advocate for continued funding of financial incentives related to the NBCT certification. ASCA did not collaborate with FSCA in its advocacy efforts but merely provided information that FSCA requested. ASCA does not endorse either the NBCT or the NCSC certification but encourages school counselors to determine the best course to meet their professional development needs.
