AP® Summer Institute Registration Opens

Registration is now open for 2007 Florida AP Summer Institutes.

Advanced Placement Program® (AP) Summer Institute courses provide new and experienced teachers with an overview of the curriculum, structure, and content of specific AP courses. Attention is devoted to:

 
The development of curriculum
Teaching strategies
The relationship of the course to the AP Examination

Registration
Registration for an AP Summer Institute must be handled directly with the Institute Director. Please call or email the Institute Director for the institute you would like to attend.

Scholarships
The College Board Florida Partnership under the direction of the state of Florida and the Florida Department of Education has provided a number of scholarships for Florida public school teachers so they may attend the AP Summer Institutes in Florida. The scholarships will be awarded by the AP Institute Directors, following guidelines set by the state of Florida, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please consult the institute brochure or contact the Director from the Institute of your choice for more information.
